Dusting yourself off from the drama.
Learning how to put yourself first.
Making self-care a priority.
Somedays it’s easier said than done…
So much to do and not enough hours in the day.
You trick yourself into thinking that your needs belong at the end of the to-do list.
On an(other) orbit to burn out.
Until you’re reminded (again) that you need to make self-care a priority so that you can be the ultimate version of you.
You’re ready to start doing things differently.
It’s time to break the cycle.
Join us for the latest edition of ALIGN; a gathering focused on awakening the heart. Hosted by Tamara Driessen (also known as Wolf Sister), Pip Roberts and Steph Reynolds (Liver Happy Life).
Expect some deep alchemy with a sacred Cacao Ceremony, Yin Yoga* and sound healing.
Relight your fire.
Come back to feeling aligned.
*A practice accessible for all bodies and genders. You just need to be good at laying down; this time less is more.
You arrive at 42 Acres in Shoreditch and it’s as if you’re instantly elevated away from the hustle of city life. As soon as you walk through the door; the heady smell of incense alerts your senses that you’re in the right place. You take a deep breath and feel your shoulders begin to release the tension that you’ve been carrying all week.
This is exactly where you need to be.
As the ceremony begins, Tamara explains the benefits of working with Ceremonial Cacao and you begin to see chocolate in an entirely new light. She talks about how its affects can be heart opening, nourishing, healing and grounding. It’s about so much more than just drinking hot chocolate and you’re curious to see where this plant medicine is going to take you.
The Ceremonial Cacao is poured into cups and everyone sips slowly, mindfully connecting with the healing energy of this elixir; it tastes bitter compared to regular chocolate but that’s OK. Tamara guides you through a gentle meditation before you ease into your first yin position. You notice your breathing slow down and it’s as if a weight has been lifted from your shoulders. You were slightly dubious about the effects of the cacao until….now. With each Yin position that Pip leads you through, you can feel yourself softening, more and more. Drifting into a state of relaxation that you didn’t know was even possible. As Steph plays the Gong, the harmonies take you into an even deeper state of bliss. You don’t want this to end.
After the ceremony, there’s some time journalling about the insights that have been flowing throughout the session. You want to hold onto these feelings for as long as possible. As the words flow through pen to paper, some truth bombs are affirmed and you’ve got some clear clues about how you can move forward.
Does this sound like what you’re looking for?
